Depending on the project, the company can provide only the engineering technology scope of the supply, including:

– Mechanical and Structural Design (to suit client specifications; projects completed to numerous international Steel Plant Standards.)

– Hydraulic and Pneumatic Design (Design and build of power units, manifold assemblies and piping circuits using standard proprietary equipment)

– Electrical and Automation Design (Complete systems incorporating AC & DC switchgear, inverter drive systems, PLC controls with latest machine interfaces utilizing touch screen technology and telemetry systems)

Engineering and Supervision & Commissioning

In addition to the engineering design scope of the project, some customer request additional support for installation and commissioning of the JMH coke oven machines.

Experienced Mechanical, Hydraulic & Electrical Installation Engineers travel throughout the world supervising, installing, commissioning and servicing machinery engineered by John M Henderson.

All Machines are completely assembled and tested in the factory so that installation time on-site is minimum.

The on-site inspections may vary, depending on the request, between one week, a few months on site, or a permanent JMH support presence, and it involves a multi-disciplinary team comprising of JMH Mechanical, Electrical & Automation, Hydraulic Engineers and Installation Supervisors; many with more than twenty years of cokemaking experience.
