A new JMH Wet Quench Car is on its way to Ternium in Argentina, after having completed the Factory Acceptance Tests in the workshop to minimize the installation time on site.
The new Quench Car is of JMH Fixed Bed type design and was constructed using experienced selection of materials and manufacturing know-how as developed with JMH’s 70 years of Coke Oven Machinery experience. As well as maximum reliability and long service life, the new JMH Quench Car was designed to ensure Ternium a uniform distribution of the coke car to ensure complete quench, whilst significantly reducing wheel load concentration for ease of maintenance and battery preservation.
The Quench Car is expected to arrive in Argentina in March 2019, and site installation and commissioning will follow shortly after that.
